Pi Network
Pi Network is a digital currency project that aims to enable users to mine and earn cryptocurrency on their mobile devices without consuming significant energy or resources. Launched in 2019 by a team of Stanford graduates, Pi Network allows users to earn Pi coins by participating in the network through a mobile app, which utilizes a consensus algorithm called the Stellar Consensus Protocol. The network promotes the idea of inclusive and accessible cryptocurrency, targeting users who may not have the technical expertise or resources to engage with existing blockchain technologies. While it allows users to accumulate and eventually trade or use Pi coins, the currency is still in its development phase, and its value in the broader cryptocurrency market is yet to be established.
